Upward Support is dedicated to ensuring that young people receive the best possible start in life. As a Leaving Care Service, our core values and aims are centred on empowering young people to lead happy and successful lives.
We believe in the importance of honesty and transparency in all of our dealings with the young people we work with. Our service is designed to help them succeed and grow within society. We strongly believe in providing equal opportunities to all young people without any unfair discrimination.
At Upward Support we understand that each young person is unique, and we strive to accept them for who they are. We are committed to supporting and helping them achieve their life goals and objectives. Our approach is built on mutual understanding, respect, and an unwavering commitment to non-judgmental support.
We place a high priority on careful preparation and care planning for each young person in our care. Every young person has a bespoke plan that accurately reflects their short, medium, and long-term needs. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that they are adequately prepared for adult life.
We understand that asylum seekers who have not been granted indefinite leave to remain require specialised support. We offer parallel planning to give them the best chance of preparing for their future, whether that is remaining in the UK or returning to their country of origin.
